A silent upgrade has allowed Apple TV units in Canada to allow TV show purchases, using iCloud streaming to store the purchased episode and stream them to other Apple devices. While it was possible to purchase TV shows via iTunes in Canada before, the update makes it possible for Apple TVs to purchase directly, 9to5 Mac reports. TV episodes cost up to $2.50 in standard definition and up to $3.50 in HD.
