A popular OS X utility, Alfred, has finally reached v1.0, according to its developer. The software speeds up searches and app launches on a Mac, for instance prioritizing commonly-used apps when running searches and assigning them hotkeys. A paid Powerpack expansion adds support for things like custom scripts and filters, filesystem navigation, and an iTunes mini player.
