Following in the footsteps of successful rappers-turned-headphone-designers such as Dr. Dre and Ludacris, performer 50 Cent has formally launched his own brand of designer headphones in conjunction with his SMS Audio company, which bought KonoAudio last summer to aid in the manufacturing process. Select retailers are now taking pre-orders for the headphones, which come in wireless and wired varieties with an earbud model to follow soon.
