A St. Louis-based developer has devised a way of tricking Siri into thinking it is talking with Apple servers, says 9to5Mac. The key involves setting up a DNS server on a network, which forwards requests for guzzoni.apple.com -- the Siri domain -- back to a computer, which is in turn configured to run a proxy server. This allows Siri to be used for commands other than those normally supported by the iPhone 4S.
