Consumer Electronics Association research director Shawn DuBravac in a presentation at a London preview for CES gave indications that this year's practice of cloning Apple en masse after it defines a category would repeat itself in 2012 with a large wave of ultrabooks. The veteran anticipated seeing 30 to 50 of the MacBook Air-inspired systems introduced at CES 2012 in mid-January, PCPro said. Although they weren't named, most will be from minor PC builders given that Acer, ASUS, HP, and Lenovo have already committed to the category.
