AT&T concept store uses iPads, iPhones instead of registers

In its attempt to give store visitors a better, more memorable experience, AT&T has opened up a concept store in Chicago that will offer a unique experience. It's a test phase, and the different touches will include two huge interactive touchscreen walls and iPads and iPhones to handle transactions, AT&T retail president Paul Roth told AllThingsD. It will also be about twice as big as traditional stores, at over 10,000 square feet.
