After previously toying with an access system that let doctor connect to Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) via LogMeIn Ignition, Practice Fusion has now created a native iPad app that it debuted earlier today at its annual conference, TechCrunch reports. The company scans medical records, creates EMRs and now allows them to be securely accessible to doctors even while out of the office for free, relying on in-app advertising of labs, pharma companies and others to create revenue.
