Feral Interactive has announced that Tropico 3: Gold Edition for the Mac will be released in January. The game is a combination of a strategic city-builder and political simulator that puts players in the position of El Presidente, dictator of the resource-rich Caribbean nation of Tropico. Tropico 3's campaign mode features 15 missions that challenge players to develop a single island, each with its own victory conditions, within a set time frame. Pre-orders will be accepted through Feral's online store in early January at the set price of $35.
