C3 -- rumored to have been bought out by Apple -- has been working on street and even interior views for its technology, reports note. While the company is best known for developing code that automatically generates 3D aerial maps, C3 has also worked on acquiring street views using "an advanced multiple camera system with overlapping viewing angles to capture the entire surroundings in stereo."
