As reported Monday, Apple will begin rolling out a new program that lets customers order merchandise online, but pick it up from the local Apple Store, beginning immediately in the San Francisco area. Online customers will have the option for in-store pickup, with standard items being available immediately. The retail stores will also be able to accept returns of merchandise that was ordered online.
