Apple issued two support updates today, the first another bugfix update for the Apple TV, the second a model-specific update for the mid-2010 15-inch MacBook Pro to fix issues relating to intermittent freezing of video. The 4.4.2 release of the Apple TV firmware is meant to consolidate fixes first offered in a troubled 4.4.1 update that was subsequently pulled and then re-instated due to a flaw in the update itself. Apple advises users to reset the Apple TV before applying the new update.
