Apple's launch of the iPhone 4S, iCloud and iOS 5 has been wildly successful. The Cupertino company announced today that it has sold over four million iPhone 4S handsets in the first three days of sales. Says executive Phil Schiller, "[The] iPhone 4S is off to a great start with more than four million sold in its first weekend -- the most ever for a phone and more than double the iPhone 4 launch during its first three days." That's not too shabby for a device that launched in seven countries and was considered a "missed opportunity" by many.
Apple also confirmed there are more than 25 million customers running iOS 5 on their handset and over 20 million who have signed up for iCloud.
