Apple is working on a first-party scanning app for iOS, a source with the company alleges. In the same style as third-party offerings, the app is said to require a person to hold an iPhone over a document or other object with text and take a photo. The image is then resized to a standard document size, with edge alignment as necessary. A user can manually adjust the size or use of the content.
