The new website and iOS app called Amen -- which is in the process of soft-launching with a private beta -- is not your typical polling app. It's more like a call-and-response game, at least for now. Users make superlative statements, such as "Queen is the best rock band of all time," and other users vote agreement ("Amen") or disagreement ("Hell no!") and offer alternatives to the statement. The company hopes to turn the social service into a powerhouse of opinion.
