Sony has unveiled its effort to claim the "world's lightest" title on e-readers with the Reader Wi-Fi PRS-T1, a six-inch model that features a monochrome touch screen as well as Wi-Fi. At just under six ounces and 0.35 inches, the company says the reader is "effortless" to hold. The new reader also features a built-in connection for downloading library books from public libraries, includes 100 public-domain classic e-books and a store from which to buy books built-in.
