Adobe will add support for iOS 5's Newsstand feature for digital publications to its Digital Publishing Suite, which could bring more than 600 titles into Newsstand's digital marketplace. DPS will include full support for Newsstand subscriptions and help eliminate the long downloading times that can be a barrier to readers. Because the software is cross-platform, publishers will also be able to develop publications for Android tablets and BlackBerry Playbooks as well as for iOS devices.
