Adobe Labs has added a release candidate version of Adobe AIR 3 and the Adobe AIR SDK to its download list for final testing. The new release includes 2D and 3D GPU-accelerated graphics for Stage 3D rendering, the introduction of native extensions for AIR, Stage Video hardware acceleration for mobile, a handful of iOS and Android-native enhancements, encrypted local storage and H.264 video encoding for desktop cameras.
