Apple is already using an iOS diagnostics website at many of its stores, two retail sources tell AppleInsider. The website is identified as iosdiags.apple.com, from which a Genius must first obtain a five-digit session number. The customer is then asked to open Safari on their handheld and visit "diags://session_id," where they must also agree to terms of service. Scan results can be read by Geniuses using in-house MobileGenius or iRepair software.
