Apple is expanding its non-retail presence in New York City, BusinessInsider is reporting, with an additional 40,000 square feet in a 1906 Flatiron building on Fifth Avenue. The company's iAd group already resides in a 10,000 square foot space within the same building, and the report characterizes the additional footage as "executive offices" and says Apple will use the space to "launch new business projects."
