Google's complaint that Microsoft was leaking Android source code wasn't enough to persuade the ITC as agency judge Theodore Essex early this week denied Google's motion to block testimony from Microsoft's expert witness. The official decided to let the expert, Robert Stevenson, testify on what Android source code might be infringing on Microsoft patents in its case against Motorola. Google's motion gave "no basis" to decide whether it made an earnest attempt to settle its issues of possible leaks with Microsoft, Judge Essex ruled.
