Verizon 4G reachable by more than half of US

Verizon said it would cross a milestone Thursday when its LTE network reaches 15 new areas. The expansion will let it potentially link up 160 million people, or about half the US population. The new areas cover northern New York cities like Albany, Ithaca, and Syracuse as well as Memphis, Tucson, and smaller cities in Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Utah.
