Apple is working on a mobile web version of its online store, one which could replace the native iOS app, according to a 9to5Mac source. As described the web app will mimic the native one, which provides an easier shopping interface. For Apple the main advantage of the web is thought to be cutting out the need for an App Store download. The change might also attract people on non-Apple devices looking to do shopping.
