Some Chinese companies are stockpiling flash memory in anticipation of a price reversal, one which could be triggered by the launch of the iPhone 5, an inSpectrum research report suggests. Memory prices have been comparatively low in recent times, and even without Apple's influence prices are expected to climb slightly in the near future based on an existing scarcity of chips. Some local traders are anticipating extra help with pricing through a September launch of the iPhone 5, inSpectrum says.
