Developer Native Instruments has announced several new music software products, beginning with Kontakt 5. The sampling suite is gaining several new features, including a collection of 37 new filters, all of which employ an "Adaptive Resonance" technology that attempts to automatically curtail any artifacts caused by resonance peaks. Some other additions include new algorithms, like Solid G-EQ and Solid Bus Comp, and TimeMachine Pro for time-stretching. Vintage sampling modes and a Tape Saturator deliberately dirty the quality of audio.
