A new iOS tool that can help users learn to play the piano has been released by ION Audio. The Piano Apprentice is a 25 note lighted keyboard that features a 30-pin connector for attaching an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. The hardware is run by a free iOS application that guides users through various piano lessons, including tutorials on how to read music notation. The Piano Apprentice runs on 4 AA batteries, or through an optional AC adapter.
