Rupert Murdoch's iPad-only general-interest magazine The Daily has gotten an upgrade to version 1.1, bringing more speed and reliability fixes as well as adding a few new features, such as directly going to the day's cover when opened and remembering where users left off when re-opened. The table of contents as well as the commenting system has been revamped as well.
