Apple could be planning to discontinue the white plastic MacBook in August or shortly thereafter, claims Concord Securities' Ming-Chi Kuo. The analyst cites industry checks, allegedly revealing that Apple's internal shipping forecast for the basic MacBook halts in August. The computer could be flagged "end of life" at that time, Kuo suggests.
