Part of Apple's board of directors has been actively talking to recruiters about long-term exploration of a successor to CEO Steve Jobs, insiders revealed Tuesday. While not an official move from the board, they were considering options and at one point had even talked to the CEO of a "high-profile technology company." The WSJ had heard that two board members discussed management after some of the recruiters approached them.
