China Unicom will "soon" send people to the US to discuss bring the 3G version of the iPad 2 to China, reports local website cctime.com as quoted by Bloomberg. In particular the information is said to come from Yu Yingtao, a manager at Unicom's sales department. Yu's information is also said to indicate though that the timing of a product launch is unknown, since it involves satisfying certain Chinese policies.
