Samsung has taken the unusual step of issuing a statement in response to the launch of a third-party iPad Smart Cover rip-off made specifically for its Galaxy Tab 10.1. The company appears to have taken the step in response to reports that showed the Anymode Smart Case carrying the official Samsung ìDesigned for Samsung Mobileî mark. Samsung has denied any involvement with Anymode stating that the company used its branding without its permission, and in the process trying to ensure that it distances itself from the blatant imitation of what is a patented Apple design
