Xsilva Systems, the company that develops the LightSpeed POS system, has announced a major new update to version 3.5 for their flagship product, changing the name of the company itself to LightSpeed to capitalize on its worldwide reseller network. The new version brings an open API to foster additional development, along with a new eCommerce package to support its own web-store option as well as the Magento platform.
