Mac buyers are noticeably much happier with the initial experience of getting their computers than their Windows counterparts, a new study by the Temkin Group suggests. Asking those who bought an Apple, Dell, or HP computer within the past 90 days, it found that the Mac buying experience was rated much higher for educating the user on what computer was right to buy, the initial setup, and particularly in customer support. Windows PCs came close in the actual process and the computer itself, but in the aggregate were never higher.
