Various camcorders that produce AVCHD files in transport stream (.mts, .m2ts) or MOD/TOD format are the bane of many Final Cut Pro 6 and 7 users, in that the files must rendered or converted before use with the editing programs, costing time and efficiency. Aunsoft Studio has developed Final Mate for Mac to convert these files to Apple ProRes files so that they can be edited without the "unrendered" message.
