Sonnet Technologies has released a new universal 2.5-inch SSD to 3.5-inch drive tray adapter. Called the Transposer, the new device secures the smaller SSD drive to a heat-sinking aluminum frame, allowing for installation in any 3.5-inch drive tray. The Transposer is compatible with 3GBps and 6GBps SATA drives. All connections touch a pass-through circuit board, bypassing the need for a bridge chip which can often lead to a loss in data transfer speeds.
