Developers who need to share code can now use a Mac-native version of GitHub, the web-based hosting service for repositories that use the Git versioning system. The program automatically finds code repositories and lets users clone them, branch them, view histories, commit changes and share code via github.com, which offers unlimited public repository storage and hosts over 2.3 million repositories at present.
