Apple has dropped the app ThirdIntifada from the App Store following complaints that it encouraged violence against Israel and violated developer guidelines "by being offensive to large groups of people," according to Apple spokesman Tom Neumayr. The app was named after the Arabic term for two violent uprisings by Palestinians against Israel, the first from 1987-1993 and the second from 2000-2005.
