Mobile devices have reportedly surpassed computers in terms of Wi-Fi usage in the US for the first time since 2010, according to data collected by wireless networking company Meraki. In the first half of last year, Windows and Mac machines represented 64 percent of the devices that accessed Wi-Fi networks monitored by Meraki. Transitioning to the same period in 2011, however, computers were responsible for just 36 percent of Wi-Fi connectivity.
