The Wi-Fi Sync feature in iOS 5 is a direct plagiarism of an app rejected by Apple in May last year, the latter's creator suggests. Greg Hughes remarks that Apple has not only used the same name as his app, but also an extremely similar logo, with a Wi-Fi "wave" circled by two arrows. After the app was rejected from the App Store, Hughes submitted it to the Cydia store, where it has done brisk business.
