Apple CEO Steve Jobs has proposed a giant, ring-shaped office at the old HP location. Not long after emceeing the WWDC opening presentation, Jobs fronted the Cupertino City Council to sell Appleís plans to transform the HPís former site. It was a slightly more subdued Steve Jobs who talked about his connection to the site based on childhood experiences of it and his vision for it. Like all things Apple, the design of the building is stunning. Itís appearance is not unlike that of an alien ìmothershipî and is designed to hold 12,000 employees.
