The number of iPhone carriers worldwide is already up to 200, Apple executives say. The information was obtained by Goldman Sachs analyst Bill Shope, who notes that the figure is a rise from the 186 carriers recorded by the end of the March quarter. "This suggests that carrier expansion continues, and may actually be accelerating," Shope explains. "As such, we believe iPhone shipments can remain robust through this summer, even with a delayed product refresh."
