AT&T's wireless chief Ralph de la Vega at his D9 talk said the company still didn't like the state of its call quality, primarily for iPhone owners. The carrier was "not happy or satisfied" with where it was. He spun it by noting that it was "improving" and pointed to examples such as the heavy investment in 850MHz and 1,900MHz wireless spectrum in New York City, which was more than any carrier had ever put into a single city.
