Mixed news emerged late Sunday in the wake of the Foxconn plant explosion in Chengdu that compounded the tragedy but also gave hope for production. Foxconn confirmed that a third worker had died as a result of wounds from the Friday plant blast at one of its polishing workshops. The company also revealed in early investigations that "combustible dust" in a duct, likely aluminum, was responsible for the accident.
