The US Senate on Monday put out a request for a second Senate hearing on "consumer privacy and protection in the mobile marketplace." Following just a week after the first hearing, Apple's worldwide government affairs head Catherine Novelli, Google's Americas public policy leader Alan Davidson, and Facebook CTO Bret Taylor will testify at a hearing on May 19. Senator Jay Rockefeller will head up the panel but won't be accompanied by Department of Justice representatives who were present at the first meeting.
