Apple has given its developers new tools today, ahead of June's Worldwide Developer's Conference (WWDC) meeting in San Francisco. Available only via Software Update, authorized users of the developer preview of Lion (version 2.2) can now download Lion DP3, which brings with it a number of new features and tweaks. The company also unveiled XCode 4.1 DP5, the fifth beta of the updated tool expected to be finalized before the WWDC starts. XCode 4.1 DP5 is available from the Mac Dev Center, and requires the Lion DP3 release to be installed first.
