On the eve of the 10th anniversary of Apple Retail stores, the company plans to open a new, larger store in Glendale California at the Americana at Brand mall -- just across the street from the Glendale Galleria mall, home of Apple's very first retail store -- which will remain open, reports say. The new store, first reported by ifoAppleStore three weeks ago, was confirmed in a speech by Americana mall owner Rick Caruso yesterday at a town hall meeting in Los Angeles.
