Just over a week after introducing version 2.0 of its terrain-creation and rendering software TerraRay -- and just over a month since the product first debuted -- developer Avis Nocturna will be updating the program to v2.5, a free update for all customers (of any previous version). The new version will add volumetric fog features to enhance lighting effects, improved editing tools, the ability to import external images as elevation maps and new preset materials, along with numerous bug fixes and smaller UI tweaks.
