News.me -- an anticipated new social news aggregrator -- should finally go live tomorrow, says a spokeswoman for the New York Times. The service and iPad app were originally intended to launch in late 2010, but missed the deadline, and the app was in fact only submitted to Apple about a month ago. The wait time is slightly unusual in that Apple has narrowed most approvals down to a matter of weeks.
