For users who need to sync files regularly between either home and work or between hard drives, servers or FTP points, a new SFTP tool from Mudflat Software hopes to eliminate the repetitious nature of syncing and maximize efficiency using one of OS X's built-in tools. Called DropSync, the program offers support for custom syncing engine options by using rsync, meaning it only transfers the parts of files that have changed rather than the entire file for greater efficiency.
