Frontier Design Group, best known for their music apps, has added BeatStudio to their lineup, a visual electronic drum and percussion generator for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Users can map a set of sounds from a built-in library and either follow along with a metronome or go free-form, or even drum along with a backing track that can be imported from iTunes, WiFi or AudioPaste.
