AvisNocturna has launched new rendering software, TerraRay 1.0. The app is geared toward creating natural landscapes with elements like vegetation, rocks, clouds and water. It includes preset materials and filters, an on-the-fly preview for each setting, and a flexible elevation map editor with several brushes. A high-end path tracer is used to create natural lighting. Also in the program are advanced procedural effects like bump and reflection maps.
